  • Standard DIT Course Syllabus
    Module 1: Fundamentals & Office Productivity
    • Computer Fundamentals: History of computers, hardware vs. software, and basic architecture.
    • Operating Systems: Managing files and commands in Windows and occasionally Linux.
    • Microsoft Office Suite:
      • MS Word: Document creation, formatting, and mail merge.
      • MS Excel: Spreadsheets, advanced formulas, charts, Dashboard and pivot tables.
      • MS PowerPoint: Designing professional presentations with transitions and animations.
      • MS Access: Basic database management and query design.
    Module 2: Web & Programming Basics [1]
    • Web Development: Fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and sometimes basic JavaScript for creating websites.
    • Programming Concepts: Introduction to logic, flowcharts, and basic coding in Python.
    • Internet Technologies: Web browsing, email management, and online security.
    Module 3: Specialized Business Skills
    • Accounting (Tally): Manual accounting basics and computerized accounting using Tally Prime/ERP 9 with GST.
    • Graphic Design: Photoshop, Indesign, Pagemaker, illustrator or CorelDraw for image editing and simple layouts.
    • Digital Skills: SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Social Media Marketing, and AI prompting.
    Core Skills Gained
    • Hardware Assembling: Understanding how to assemble and troubleshoot computer components.
